Reason for being in a band: I can wear the wig I always wanted and be cool at the same time.

Minnesota is where you can make the Big bucks. It was a long drive so I'm hoping it's worth it.

Tony is the latest addition to Shag. Don't let his lovable appearance fool you. This guy is an incredible bass player with a lot of flash and dynamics. He certainly raises the bar for all of us.

Tony's Stuff

Tony plays gear from Sadowsky, Lakland, and Gallien-Krueger, which is the only equipment available on the market that he's never been able to break over a 20 year career. All that said, he's seen it proved a million times over that it's more about the wizard and less about the wand. Warning: Sometimes this statement is used by people that don't appreciate a fancy wand so they want to dote over their wizardry.

Bass Tips for the aspiring Bassist

1. "Show up on time, shut up, wear the right clothes, bring a Jazz Bass, and try to sound like Will Lee"

3. Experience has tought me that no matter how bad you want to wear a unitard for a stage outfit, it's generally not a good idea.

4. A Jazz Bass is all the wand you need to make the magic happen.
